STEP FIVE: Reconnect the monitor cables

Reconnect any devices and cables that you detached during installation and then connect the monitor cable(s) to the new card.

Apply power to the system and boot.

Install drivers. Most new video cards are packaged with appropriate driver either on disk or CD. If needed please refer to appropriate manufacturer for current drivers for your new video card. Most manufacturers have current driver listed on thier web site.

When aquiring current drivers you must note the Operating System of your computer.

If your using Windows OS your system might detect hardware and request the disk to be inserted. Now simply follow the on-screen instructions, and enjoy you new video card.
